Illusion

I was lost in this world of illusion,
Swayed by my own mental delusion.

Not knowing which path to take,
I followed my ego, so fake.

It brought me lots of sensual joy,
And played with me like a little toy.

Little did I know that it would take me way out of range,
And throw me into a pit of misery, with an urge to change.

The Master Gurbachan called down to me into the abyss,
I looked up with tears in my eyes and knew that He could bestow Bliss.

He revealed to me His real eternal form,
And explained to me the practices to perform.

He said to me, "From now onwards you are on your own,
Detach your mind from My body and attach it to what was shown".

"Boota, Avtar, and I are the same,
The only difference is in the body and name".

I now realize that Master Gurbachan's body was part of this illusion,
Only His true spiritual form is the real solution.
